This was inspired by a quote I'd read by Sam Ewig, "As a child, a library card takes you to exotic, faraway places. When you're grown up, a credit card does it." This was part of a series of three pieces about the fear I had about working a job that which I have no passion for. This is how I imaged the child in the series to grow up as he looses his ability to use his passion and creativity for his work.
